Ms. Hurst, only a small portion of the fiber backbone has been ran along Goshen Valley. The fiber is ran in separate stages, with backbone crews working first, then another group of contractors completes another portion, as it must be spliced. HolstonConnect asks for your patience as we continue construction. While previously stated, the entire project could take anywhere from 3 to 5 years to complete, but every member within our service territory will be provided the opportunity to purchase our services. As Goshen Valley lies within Phase 4, your estimated service availability date is the summer of 2021. However, all areas are subject to change without notice based upon receipt of grants, availability of materials and contractors, and unforeseen weather and terrain.
